Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What makes STRAPPED so unique?

A: Strapped is built on community, expert guidance, and inclusivity—welcoming all fitness levels in a supportive environment. Our classes focus on mobility, functional movement, and strength, using straps to create joint-friendly, effective workouts. Plus, we keep it affordable, making high-quality training accessible to everyone.

Q: What do I bring to class?

All you need is yourself!

  • Footwear: Classes are performed barefoot, but for OG and Squared, you may prefer harder-soled shoes to protect sensitive feet from band tension.

  • Mat: Optional! Our 1-inch foam floors provide plenty of comfort.

  • Clothing: Wear comfortable athletic wear that allows for movement.

  • Water: Available at the studio—bring your own bottle.

  • Facilities: No shower facilities on-site.

Q: Why Straps (resistance bands)?

A: Straps allow for controlled, joint-friendly resistance that builds strength, stability, and mobility. They adapt to all fitness levels, engage more muscles, and provide a safer, more effective workout than traditional weights alone.

Q: How many classes should I take per week, and which ones are best for my level?

A: If you're just starting, we recommend 2 OG classes per week and/or 1 S&M or Smooth/Soothe class for recovery. For advanced students or those wanting more, try a Safari class—it challenges coordination, endurance, and full-body strength in a dynamic way.To round out your OG/S&M schedule, add Squared and/or Sync, which were designed to complement OG with progressive strength, control, and movement precision.

Q: How long before I feel stronger, and/or more mobile?

A: Everyone progresses differently, but most feel stronger and more mobile within a few weeks. Consistency is key—commit to regular classes (see previous question), and you'll notice improvements in stability, strength, and flexibility.

Q: Will I lose weight with Strapped?

A: Strapped prioritizes strength, mobility, and overall wellness over outdated weight-loss tactics. Our approach focuses on effective workouts with minimal stress on the nervous system, helping you build strength, confidence, and resilience. Fat loss often follows as a natural result. Q: Do men get similar results with Strapped as they would in the gym? Is the program intense enough?

A: Yes! Strapped delivers strength, mobility, and intensity in a way that many gym routines overlook. While traditional weightlifting builds muscle, Strapped enhances functional strength, joint health, and movement efficiency, reducing injury risk and improving overall performance. Many men love our OG, Squared, and Safari classes for their variety, challenge, and intensity, offering a full-body workout that builds serious strength while improving mobility and control.

Q: Can you build muscle with straps?

A: Absolutely! Straps create constant tension, allowing for progressive overload, muscle activation, and full range of motion—all key for muscle growth. They also improve stability and control, making your strength gains more functional and well-rounded.
